Oh my goodness - I love this! I have been saying this same thing for like 20yrs and when I said it to a girlfriend who is being challenged in her marriage, she shared this. it's so sweet and inspiring to hear this from someone else. The greatest causality in broken homes sadly is the children. It seems very challenging for most people to let go of entrenched social structures, no matter how much suffering they cause. It will be wonderful when we can empower each other to live our lives with greater freedom and less pressure. Looking forward to reading your other articles.
Thank you so much for your kind words and for sharing your perspective, Elysabeth. It's incredibly validating to hear that my article resonated with your long-held beliefs about the complexities of marriage and its impact on families. Your insight adds depth to the conversation about rethinking traditional structures to embrace more freedom and intentionality in our lives.
I'm delighted you're interested in reading more, and I truly appreciate your support. Your encouragement inspires me to continue exploring and sharing these ideas. Looking forward to our continued journey of discovery and growth.

We did something similar 26 years ago but set no time frame. But if at any time our life together wasnt better than an Abba sing, to quote Muriel, then we would reevaluate. So far, better than even Dancing Queen or Take A Chance On Me.
This is so awesome, Barb, and having met you both, I concur: your duo is inspiring, so inspiring. Thanks for sharing - knowing people are conscious and clear as they move forward in their relationships is so very encouraging. :))
